Whether you are selling family heirlooms or household goods, Rick Chandler of Perry, Ohio is the auctioneer who can professionally market and promote your sale. He is licensed and bonded in favor of the State of Ohio through Ohio Department of Agriculture, Division of Real Estate and Licensing.
A native of northeast Ohio, he is a graduate of the Walton School of Auctioneering in Medina. He completed an intensive 85-hour study program covering local, state and federal laws governing the auction business. Marketing and advertising, clerking, cashiering and accounting were among the topics studied.
In order to be eligible to sit for the licensure exam, Rick had to successfully complete an apprenticeship exam and serve one year with a licensed auctioneer. He has worked with many of the area's best-known auctioneers in several hundred sales across northeast Ohio.
Well-known as an antique dealer and collector for more than 25 years, Rick is looking forward to applying his knowledge in the field of antiques and collectibles to help you identify and properly promote the sale of your family heirlooms or collection.
He has been attending auctions for more than 30 years. Now, he is looking forward to being able to utilize his expertise in antiques and collectibles to help consignors get the best price for either their own personal collections or for estates for which they are executrix.
Rick Chandler has done antique shows in Ohio, Michigan, Kentucky and Indiana. As a collector, he has traveled from coast-to-coast pursuing hard-to-find items. His special interests include antique toys, blue decorated stoneware, treenware, and vintage advertising.
Rick believes the key to a successful sale is to advertise and market the event. Another important factor is a professional auction team that includes an experienced and friendly cashier, clerk, runners and sale manager.
We look forward to serving you as either the consignor or the buyer.
